Hope everyone’s doing well with all the heavy snow that we’ve had recently. Our phone, (845) 896-4177, was acting a little crazy, so if you were trying to reach us and you got a weird message, it was only temporary (knock on wood) and it should just work now.
Many are still without power until early next week. Let’s keep the Central Hudson workers in our prayers as they work around the clock to get 70,000 families back up and going with power. The Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response set up several “warming centers” across the county Friday to provide a haven for those forced to leave their homes. On Friday night, John Jay High School in Wiccopee was opened as an emergency overnight shelter.
Central Hudson has scheduled the distribution of free dry ice and bottled water at seven locations beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday. They are:
— Rosendale Recreation Center, Route 32, Rosendale;
— Eltings Corners, Route 299, New Paltz;
— Government Shelter, 2 Elting Court, Ellenville;
— Middlehope Firehouse, Route 9W, Middlehope;
— Dan Leghorn Engine Co., Route 52, Lakeside Road, Newburgh;
— East End Fire Department, Route 9D, Swenson Drive, Wappingers Falls; and
— Fishkill Town Hall, Route 52, Fishkill.
If you’re able, call and check on elderly neighbors that maybe affected to see if they are in need of any assistance. Hopefully, this will soon pass – Be safe everyone!

Don’t they look sweet?
We had a fun time shooting these little handsome 1.5yr old twins at our studio in Lagrangeville, NY. Dad Geoff Casto had his hands full keeping them occupied until they were ready for their close up. Who knew an empty closet was the hot spot to hang out in?
The portraits were a gift to Mom, Heather Casto of The Chocolate Mousse in Hyde Park, NY. Together Heather & Geoff provide chef services for Catering Events & Parties, In Home Cooking Parties and Personal Chef Services. I think these two tykes are gonna grow up learning more than how to boil water!
